Alleyne’s Academy is very proud of our strong history of success with our DofE participants. Students learn responsibility, resilience, independence and motivation throughout their award, and thoroughly enjoy the experience. We have a strong completion rate, and love celebrating students’ success each year at our annual Awards Evening.
Students participate in voluntary work, a physical activity and a skill for roughly an hour a week, alongside a school-organised expedition. Last year our participants contributed over 2,000 hours of voluntary service to the local community.
Our varied extra-curricular programme delivers sport and academic societies, as well as pupil-led activities. There really is something for everyone at Alleyne’s.
